Precautions for using TeCSA point scanner
in order to implement the full digital process in the newspaper office, Dahe newspaper purchased TeCSA point scanner in November 1999. TeCSA point scanner undertakes the scanning of a large number of advertising films every day. In order to ensure the timely and effective completion of the scanning work and meet the requirements of the timeliness of newspapers, after several years of exploration, we have gradually mastered the characteristics of TeCSA point scanner, standardized the working process of the point scanner, improved the working efficiency, and provided the necessary guarantee for accurate and rapid reporting
the measurement parameters of the experimental performance of brake linings for Jinan Shijin automobile are calibrated according to the inspection standards of different customers. In the process of using TeCSA point scanner, the author believes that image scanning, image processing and daily maintenance of point scanner are very important links. If they are not handled well, they will affect normal production. According to the author's experience, the following problems should be strictly paid attention to in use
scanning process
1. monochrome file scanning process
① when scanning film, generally move the threshold block to the middle position, select 1200dpi, and then select monochrome for scanning. The scanned file format should be stored in TIFF uncompressed format
② when scanning paper, generally move the threshold block to the upper position, select 1200dpi, and then select monochrome for scanning. The scanned file format should be stored in tiffuncompressed format
2. color document scanning process
① put the four-color (two-color or three-color) color separations together into the scanner for scanning, select 1200dpi, and then select monochrome for scanning. The scanned file format should be stored in tiffuncompressed format. Then open the file with tecsadot software, use the crop color set function, synthesize the monochrome file into a color file according to the different materials of the film blowing machine, and store the color file in dcsluncompressed format
② put the four-color (2-color or 3-color) color separation film into the scanner one by one for scanning, select 1200dpi, and then select the color scanning method for scanning. Scan any one of the monochrome films each time. After scanning all color separation films, save the file in dcsl uncompressed format
processing flow
1 Processing flow of monochrome file
open the monochrome file - rotate and mirror - do horizontal or vertical - cut the file - repair dirt - store the file in tiffuncompressed or EpsF compressed group4 format
2. processing flow of color file
open the color file - register with simple alignment or Autoalignment or manual alignment - rotate and mirror - do horizontal or vertical - cut the file - clean - store the file in CSL compressed group4 format
file format
1. The file format of monochrome files is generally tiffuncompressed. If you want to use compression, you can also store the file format as EpsF compressed group4 format
2, the file format of color files is generally stored in kcs1 format. In the process of processing, files are generally stored in dcsl uncompressed file format (dcsl uncompressed); When the processing is completed and the final file is generated, the file can be stored in the compressed format of dcsl (dcslcompressed group4)
3, do not store monochrome files in TIFF compressed group4 format; Color files should not be in epsfcompressed group4 format
tiff, EpsF and dcsl formats
1. TIFF uncompress constitutes cavitation and makes noise. D format files are separate files. This file can sometimes be opened and processed in Photoshop. The file displayed in Photoshop will be a tiff bitmap file with the same resolution as the file when scanning
2.epsf file is a single file. Monochrome files can be stored as compressed EpsF files; However, color files cannot be stored as compressed EpsF files
3, there are five files in dcsl format. One of the suffixes is ".Eps", and the other four file suffixes are ".C", "m", "Y" and ".K" files respectively. These five files are indispensable for dcsl format
4, file name change: for TIFF format files, you can directly change the file name; However, for dcsl format files, you cannot directly change the file name, even if you change all five file names at the same time. To change the file name of dcsl format file, you must first open the file, select "save as", and change the file name when saving the file as
